Dr Aktas to work on Climate Adaptation Research and Innovation Framework

UKCMB Deputy Academic Director Dr Yasemin Didem Aktas is seconded to the Government Office for Science to work on the upcoming Climate Adaptation Research and Innovation Framework being developed by the Climate Adaptation Research and Innovation Board (CARIB). This policy work is supported by UCL’s Strategic Priorities Fund EPSRC IAA 2022-25 (EP/X525649/1) (OVPRIGE Public Policy Rapid Response 2022-25). The framework delineates the research and innovation gaps in and across different sectors across the UK with a systems approach and is expected to be released in 2025.
