Wärme Und Feuchte Instationär (WUFI) courses available with discount code for UKCMB community
UKCMB Web Admin

The Green Register of construction professionals is offering a discount code to the UKCMB community for their Wärme Und Feuchte Instationär (WUFI) courses. WUFI is one of the most detailed heat and moisture simulation and analysis tools currently available to inform responsible, low risk retrofit. The use of such tools is particularly valuable for traditionally-constructed buildings.

WUFI pro: Heat and moisture simulation workshop (London)
Date:  –

Overview:
This two-day in person course provides a practical, hands-on introduction to WUFI® Pro hygrothermal numerical simulation. WUFI® is the world leading simulation software for understanding the risk of interstitial condensation, mould, rot and freeze-thaw in buildings.

The training includes hands-on guided use of the software, and a 6-week temporary licence of the full version of the WUFI® Pro software, as well as access to support on the online WUFI® Forum.

Who it’s for and eligibility requirements:

Using WUFI for assessing moisture risk in retrofit (online)

Date: October 22, 2024, 9.30am-11.30am
Location: online

Overview:

This new seminar has been created in response to the evident need for a greater awareness and understanding of WUFI and of moisture risk assessment in general. It’s a practical look at WUFI’s functions, strengths and weaknesses, how it can be used in projects and how much certainty (or otherwise) should be expected from a WUFI® assessment.

This new seminar will take delegates through:

– WUFI® compared with other moisture risk assessment methods
– how WUFI® works
– when you might need a WUFI® assessment
– what to expect when you commission a WUFI® assessment
– where the uncertainties and pitfalls lie
– how best to use the results to help inform your retrofit decision

Cost: From £36 for members, 10% discount code UKCMBUCL10 for the UKCMB community and UCL staff, students get 50% discount on all their training courses with code SDT
