We are glad to announce that two UKCMB projects have started, both of which will be presented at the upcoming conference.
The first is on Health and Moisture in Buildings, funded by St Gobain Research. The issue of health and moisture, as will be apparent, is complex and multifaceted, and potentially a major issue for building design and process, policy and standards, occupant understanding, and liability.
The second project is on mould testing and benchmarking, sponsored by Polygon UK with the support also of Mycometer from Denmark. This project aims to set up a robust methodology for testing of mould levels in buildings and will trial this methodology on up to 100 properties to see what levels of mould are in both “dry” and “wet” buildings.
